  • The wetting machine has been designed to realise the humidification of the wool of the skins by means of special products, both for a later ironing, decolouring or to produce decorative effects on the skins.
  • In the instructions for this machine one has taken into account the working conditions and for that reason all the parts which are in contact with the skins and the wetting liquids are made from stainless steel. The skins are introduced into the machine by a conveying belt with a variable speed from 2,5 to 20 metres/minute. The solution is poured on the skins by means of a buffering roller with a variable speed, what permits to control the quantity of solution applied to the wool. Later on the skins go through a brushing cylinder whose function is to even the skin and make the solution penetrate up to the desired depth. This cylinder, which is equipped with brushes, is driven automatically to avoid spots on the skin, both in the loading and in the unloading of the skin into and out of the machine.
  • The wet skins are returned to the front part of the machine by a thread conveyor. This permits the machine to be controlled by a sole operator. The machine is supplied equipped with its corresponding reservoirs of liquid with a capacity of 80 litres each one of them and equipped with the corresponding filters both in the recycling and in the vacuum section of the pump. The reservoirs are connected to each other though a set of valves to permit the wetting with the various types of desired liquids.
  • To eliminate the vapours and smells produced during the wetting process, the machine is equipped with an exhausting installation build with anti-roast material with a high yeald, with an aspiration capacity of 2.850 m3/hour.
  • Electric board and security devices are incorporated.
